Presence

When a lot of things are going on in our heads and a million thoughts are crossing our minds, we find it difficult to be present and stay still. If we are expecting news or an answer, we tend to get nervous about the outcome and feel triggered and frustrated when there is a delay. Letting go is the only way we can cope with the waiting time.

Such situations teach us to be present. Presence is the art of being here fully. Not only the body, but also the mind and the attention.

Moreover, we are going through so many emotions at the same time. It's not easy to process them but you need to ask yourself the following questions:

- What am I feeling in my body right now?

- Why and what is triggering it?

- What hides behind the trigger?

Sometimes just by asking ourselves these 3 powerful questions, we manage to find the real issue.

For example, I am feeling stressed and anxious while waiting for an outcome

- Why am I feeling stressed and anxious?  Because I don't like uncertainty.

- Why don’t I like uncertainty? Because I don't have a sense of control.

- What should I do? Choose to be present and let go.

The more you practice, the easier it will become.
