Life is more fun when you succeed in keeping the creative spark alive. It could be in relationships, in your job or even in your daily activities. Not only artists such as dancers, painters or actors are creative but all of us are. We just need to unlock the creative potential in us.
You can be creative in the way you decorate your home, in your ability to "think outside the box" or simply in the way you dress. Creativity can be found anywhere. You just need to start doing things differently.
You can start inventing games, songs, recipes or simply put on some music, close the curtains and start dancing in the middle of your living room. Dance helps you enhance the creative side in you.
As we are all confined these days and some of you have children, one fun activity will be to make vision boards with them. You will need some old newspapers or magazines lying around your house, a big sheet of paper or cardboard, a pair of scissors and some glue.
You have two ways of doing vision boards. The first way is to put an intention before starting and be in line with what you would like to achieve and then start cutting pictures and words accordingly. You can refer to your wish list if you have previously made one.
The second way of doing it is to start cutting all the words or pictures that inspire you. Once you are done cutting them, decide where to place them before gluing them. When completed, welcome the message you are getting through this exercise with an open mind. You might be surprised with the outcome.
If you are doing this with your kids, take some children magazines and ask them to do the same exercise but with their wishes or their inspirations. You will notice that children are much more creative than us and let themselves dream more without any restrictions. We adults have almost forgotten how to dream and can learn many lessons by interacting with our children.
Once you are done, place this vision board in front of you and look at it daily. You will be amazed at how quickly things will start to shift in your mind and manifesting in your life.
"Creativity doesn't wait for that perfect moment. It fashions its own perfect moments out of ordinary ones" - Bruce Garrabrandt
