Choice

In life you are constantly making choices. It can go from the simple choice of "what will I eat for dinner tonight" to the ones which need a bit more reflection when it comes to your career or personal life. For choices between two ice cream flavours, you are not taking a big risk. If you choose one today, you can always try the other one next time. But when it concerns bigger life decisions, it is all about priority. Each time you ask yourself "Am I making the right decision", take a deep breath and evaluate if it will help you grow in the long run. If that's the case, go for it. If not, maybe you should reconsider your option. The choices you are making today will have an impact on your life tomorrow, whether it will be a positive or a negative one. So choose wisely. We are living in a world where we are surrounded by a million options everyday. It is easy to get overwhelmed with so many choices, especially when you enjoy learning and trying new things...

Light

For those of you who live alone and are being confined at home for more than a month without any contact other than on the phone, it can become a bit long. I am sure you are looking forward to spending time with your friends and family, having a drink on a terrace, walking along the lake or going back to work and meet with your colleagues.

This time can also be a struggle for people who are anxious as the condition can worsen. Do not think that you are alone. If you feel a bit sad or lost, pick up your phone and call your best friend or someone you trust.

Go out for your daily stroll and walk barefoot on the grass. This is called "Grounding". We say that grounding helps us be fully present and reconnect to the earth. It is also beneficial for our health and anxiety. Just try it for yourselves, it is life changing. You will feel full of energy and your emotions will be under control. Moreover, by being outside you will get some fresh air which is much needed in order to get clarity in our minds.

Another way to feel lighter and which also helps enhance your creativity is to take your phone or camera with you when going out for your walk and taking pictures of things which inspire you. When looking back at your pictures, you will realise that you start seeing them in a different light and gain a new perspective on life. This activity is called "Therapeutic Photography".

If it is still difficult for you, there is no shame in asking for help. There are plenty of qualified professionals who are there to assist you. You just need to find the one who fits you and understands your needs.

Stay strong, we are almost there. And as we say "There is always light at the end of the tunnel."

"If light is in your heart, you will find your way home" - Rumi
