Choice

In life you are constantly making choices. It can go from the simple choice of "what will I eat for dinner tonight" to the ones which need a bit more reflection when it comes to your career or personal life. For choices between two ice cream flavours, you are not taking a big risk. If you choose one today, you can always try the other one next time. But when it concerns bigger life decisions, it is all about priority. Each time you ask yourself "Am I making the right decision", take a deep breath and evaluate if it will help you grow in the long run. If that's the case, go for it. If not, maybe you should reconsider your option. The choices you are making today will have an impact on your life tomorrow, whether it will be a positive or a negative one. So choose wisely. We are living in a world where we are surrounded by a million options everyday. It is easy to get overwhelmed with so many choices, especially when you enjoy learning and trying new things...

Introspection

We have plenty of time on our hands these days to think about where we are in life.

Introspection helps us understand ourselves better but also analyse the patterns that tend to repeat in our lives.

Find a quiet place in your home and sit in silence for a while. The goal is not to be in meditation mode but just to reflect on what is going well in our life and what needs improvement. This is also the time to analyse our own behaviour. Most of the time we tend to see faults in others but through introspection we might realise that we have created our reality.

It is also an opportunity to examine our thoughts and emotions and ask ourselves why we are feeling like this. Sometimes we come across an article which triggers some emotions in us and we usually tend to say "We didn't really like this article". The real question is "how it made us feel". There is most probably an unresolved issue in us which needs to be work on.

We can start by analysing all the negative situations we had in our life. We need to reflect with an open mind and heart. Instead of asking "Why these people behaved the way they did, we should ask ourselves "What did I do to make them behave like this". All people who come in our life mirror something which we need to work on. We usually say that "What we see in others is a reflection of ourselves". It teaches us something.

You are here to learn. When the situation doesn't satisfy you and the people involved are not getting it even after communicating several times with them, it is better to walk away. As we say "You cannot change someone who does not see an issue with their actions. You can only change the way you react to them". Saying no and leaving means your are choosing yourself and making self-respect and self-love a priority in your life.

You will realise through introspection that maybe you also had your part of responsibility. It is time to clear all these negative emotions, wounds, memories and start afresh.

Universe always present you similar situations in your life until you learn the lesson.

It is time to awaken and start doing things differently.

"Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes." - Carl Jung
