Choice

In life you are constantly making choices. It can go from the simple choice of "what will I eat for dinner tonight" to the ones which need a bit more reflection when it comes to your career or personal life. For choices between two ice cream flavours, you are not taking a big risk. If you choose one today, you can always try the other one next time. But when it concerns bigger life decisions, it is all about priority. Each time you ask yourself "Am I making the right decision", take a deep breath and evaluate if it will help you grow in the long run. If that's the case, go for it. If not, maybe you should reconsider your option. The choices you are making today will have an impact on your life tomorrow, whether it will be a positive or a negative one. So choose wisely. We are living in a world where we are surrounded by a million options everyday. It is easy to get overwhelmed with so many choices, especially when you enjoy learning and trying new things...

Harmony

Harmony means being at peace when looking at both sides of the coin. We cannot have an abundant life if we see only the negative side of things. We cannot be happy all the time either. We have emotions and need to welcome and accept them. We tend to think that positive people never get sad but the truth is that they know how to accept their feelings, do a self-introspection, learn the lessons and move on.

If each of us start to be complete and whole in ourselves, we will be able to live in harmony with others.  Universe is full of perfectly imperfect people.

A successful relationship should be on a "give and take" mode. You cannot only give neither can you only expect from others. It goes both ways. The important ingredients to make it work are respect, compassion and empathy.

Acceptance is the key to a harmonious life. Accept yourself and others and stop trying to control every situations. If one area is unbalanced, you need to figure out what you are doing in excess or on the contrary not doing it at all. Extremes are not good in any situations. If you live only for excess, you have hard time appreciating what you already have in your life.

We all have two sides in us. We often talk about yin and yang or feminine and masculine energy. We need to make sure that these aspects are in balance within us in order to live in harmony. Mindfulness can help us do that.

Harmony also means to release ourselves from negative situations. We need to let go of what is not serving us. "Everything happens for a reason". We need to accept that the only constant in life is change. We just have to learn the lesson from the situation and move on. It will help us grow and evolve.

You will know when you are in harmony because you will strongly feel that you are in alignment with the Universe and you will feel inner peace.
