Choice

In life you are constantly making choices. It can go from the simple choice of "what will I eat for dinner tonight" to the ones which need a bit more reflection when it comes to your career or personal life. For choices between two ice cream flavours, you are not taking a big risk. If you choose one today, you can always try the other one next time. But when it concerns bigger life decisions, it is all about priority. Each time you ask yourself "Am I making the right decision", take a deep breath and evaluate if it will help you grow in the long run. If that's the case, go for it. If not, maybe you should reconsider your option. The choices you are making today will have an impact on your life tomorrow, whether it will be a positive or a negative one. So choose wisely. We are living in a world where we are surrounded by a million options everyday. It is easy to get overwhelmed with so many choices, especially when you enjoy learning and trying new things...

Consistency

Consistency is key in everything you do whether it is doing your daily morning yoga practice, having healthy breakfast everyday or working on your project regularly.

Consistency is a commitment you make with yourself to keep going no matter what. For that you will have to increase your willpower.

It means that when you commit to something or someone, just stick to it and do what you have said otherwise you might come across as someone unreliable and you don't want that. Hold yourself accountable for all your actions.

Never make promises you cannot keep or suggest something you cannot do. It is better to be transparent and say from the beginning that you will not be able to make it instead of saying yes and not following up. It will avoid a lot of frustration and disappointment.

There are situations where it can happen but the best thing to do is to apologise and move on. It is also best to avoid negative thinking or limiting beliefs. Avoid saying to yourself that you cannot do it or that you are too lazy or too impatient. Take a moment for some introspection.  It is an opportunity to improve yourself.

Consistency means that you engage yourself completely to the task and you allocate some of your time only to focus on this activity without being distracted. In order to be successful in all areas of your life, try to have a regular schedule and stick to it.

Start with some rituals and build up. Exchange a bad habit of yours with a good one and be consistent with it. We say that it takes 21 days to form a new habit. So it is the time to put some thoughts into the way you would like to live your life and become more consistent in everything you do.
